Adamawa Sen Yaroe offers free medical services to over 600 voters

Over 600 residents of Kiri Community in Shelleng LGA of Adamawa State have benefited from free medical outreach provided by Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe, Senator representing Adamawa South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

Residents of Kiri, who turned out in large numbers at the Kiri Primary Health Care Center (PHCC) on Monday, received free medical services ranging from surgeries, USS (scan), laboratory tests, medicines, medical consultations between others.

“I heard someone say medical outreach was in the budget. It’s a lie. This free medical assistance has not been budgeted. The only budgeted medical intervention was the one we did in Shelleng. Apart from that, all the free medical procedures I have done in the nine local government areas of my district are entirely my initiation and I have used my funds.

“Some people want to imitate and copy my free medical initiation by coming by themselves, but they stopped halfway because they couldn’t cope. They did it once or twice and stopped .
“But mine is unique because I know the value of the well-being of my people, that’s why it becomes an ongoing program. The health issue is not something you will do once and stop. It’s an ongoing program because people’s health matters.”

Senator Binos called on the people of the Kiri community and Shelleng LGA as a whole to rally around the Fintiri-led administration to enable it to deliver more democracy dividends and give them some fresh air to breathe as they keep their PVCs handy for the fast approach. 2023 general election.

Also speaking, the medical team leader, Dr. Jama Medan revealed that as many as 600 residents of Kiri have benefited from the free medical outreach with more than 10 surgeries successfully performed with the aid of the hospital mobile.

He praised Senator Binos Yaroe for taking it upon himself to prioritize the health and well-being of his people, where he described the outreach as a huge success.

While expressing his satisfaction with the commitment of his medical staff for giving their best, which led to the success of outreach, Dr. Medan was impressed with the high level of compliance and participation mass of the inhabitants of the community of Kiri.

In her address, the Head of Kiri Primary Health Care Center (PHCC), Mrs. Rifkatu Ayuba, thanked Senator Binos Yaroe for ensuring that the people of Kiri benefit from her free medical services.

While hailing the medical team for successful service delivery, she called on the people of Kiri community to come out in large numbers and vote for the PDP in the 2023 general election.

Five-year-old Elisha Thomas had been suffering from a strange illness since birth, but Binos’ medical team managed to restore the lucky boy to good health after successful surgery on his private part.

His mother, Mrs Elisabatu Thomas, told reporters that Elisha had suffered from the disease since birth, but she could not believe her eyes that her son was a free child.

In his words, “I am at a loss for words to thank Senator Binos for the joy he has brought to my family. My son is now healthy. I want to assure Senator Binos that our votes in Kiri are for the PDP.”

The medical team led by Dr. Jama Medan visited the Kiri district chief’s residence to pay their respects and the traditional chief was also examined and given free medicine.
