More than 5,000 patients with various ailments participated in a free three-day medical outreach sponsored by Senator Rep. Adamawa South, Binos Dauda Yaroe.

Beneficiaries span the 21 local governments of Adamaoua and the neighboring Republic of Cameroon.

Owolabi correspondent Adenusi reports that 50 medical staff participated in the three-day medical outreach at Ganye General Hospital.

The outreach attracted thousands of people from the nine local councils making up the senatorial district and neighboring Cameroon
Republic.

One of the recipients, Jennifer Karbo, who had persistent miscarriages in the past, underwent a Caesarean section and she gave birth to
a baby girl.

“I have suffered from hyneer for the past 10 years and have spent a lot in vain so far. I am grateful to have been operated in the continuing free medical service sponsored by our senator. I thank him for bringing us this gesture,” said Halilu Aliyu, another beneficiary.

Moreover, Alhaji Buba said, “I have been a hyneer patient for 6 years and could not afford to see a doctor until now. And I thank God and those of you who brought us this free medical service.

The legislator was applauded for organizing a medical outreach in which various medical conditions were successfully treated.

Adamawa residents are now calling on other well-meaning citizens to emulate lawmakers by sponsoring similar initiatives to complete the state
government basic health care program.
